My work attempts to capture an optimised and energised life ‘on-the-go’ seeking out definitive moments within this transitory, transactional lifestyle and capturing them in videos and sculpture. My video series ‘Wet Unboxing’ parodied the popular ‘unboxing’ trend, slowly unpacking otherwise mundane items underwater to mesmerising and grotesque effect, while my series of resin-encapsulations of super-convenience foods fix these fleeting foods in time.
I have exhibited internationally in numerous physical public and private institutions in addition to virtual spaces. In 2018, my ‘Wet Unboxing’ videos were featured in 30+ articles across all continents, in 10 languages and were awarded a listing on knowyourmeme.com. Some recent physical solo-exhibitions include Passive Aggression at TACO! London and Unboxing Alex Frost at First Site, Colchester.
