My practice is concerned with the representation of realities and fictions, with the temporary, artifice and imitation. With an interest in cinema and performance, television and advertising, I often re-appropriate these forms and the tropes utilised within them. The work aims to re-configure the familiar through suggested and deconstructed narrative strands and simplified forms.

Predominantly working with moving image and photography, the third dimension reduced to the second dimension creates a space for illusion and possibilities. Here, ‘real’ space and fictive space become entwined.
